Boozhoo! aaniin ezhi ayaayan?Briana Johnson is an Indigenous, Mixed-white, and Korean American voice actor based in the Upper Midwest with a rich background in acting and a passion for voice over in animation, commercial, and video games.Briana began her acting journey with the St. Paul Opera Workshop at age 5, participating in many musicals and plays over the years. Some memorable roles include Gretel ('97) and Elsa ('09) in "The Sound of Music", The Guthrie Theater's annual "A Christmas Carol", and Miss Prism in "The Importance of Being Earnest".Voice over has always been a dream for Briana ever since she was a little girl watching TV and mimicking the voices she often heard from cartoons to commercials. Since then, She has been taking classes and honing in on her skills - developing a wide vocal range from young children to adults.Briana also has a Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Med Biology with a minor in Anthropology from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, MN. She also has her certificate in Chemical Pathology and Histology from The University of North Dakota.Her current daytime job as a Medical Scientist is at the University of Minnesota Medical Center working in Histology/Pathology. She also works in Guest Relations and Programming Management at numerous Midwest and Texas Comic and Anime Conventions.When Briana isn’t working at the hospital or a convention, she is at home snuggling with her cats, leading a voice over workout on discord, vacationing with her son, or betraying friends in a game of "Blood on the Clocktower".
